A request was made this week for the release of the 2023 taxes for Obion County.
Trustee Tracey Westbrooks addressed the Obion County Budget Committee concerning the taxes.(AUDIO)
Mrs. Westbrooks told Thunderbolt News that total collectible taxes were just over $12,392,000 dollars.
$123,621 was not collected and was turned over to Chancery Court.
Following the presentation Budget Committee members voted to send the issue to the full County Commission.
