City officials in Hickman continue to monitor landslides that have occurred around the city.
A major slide has closed a portion of Carroll Street in the downtown area, with homes on Moulton Street affected by the sliding soil.
Officials from Kentucky Transportation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have surveyed the slides, which were heightened during the recent storm system that dropped over ten-inches of rain.
