The City of Union City is working to bring running water back to the Midway Community.
One day after issuing a “Boil Water Advisory” to the residents and businesses, a water line has ruptured.
City Manager Johnny McTurner explained the issue facing the Midway community.(AUDIO)
McTurner said drinking water is being provided to the residents, with attempts also ongoing to receive some assistance from the National Guard.(AUDIO)

McTurner said a request has been made in Nashville to use the water tanks, with hopes of receiving an answer sometime today.
