Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, Eric Church and more to perform at ACM Awards

Blake Shelton, Eric Church and Lainey Wilson were revealed as the first round of performers set to take the stage at the upcoming 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire. Additional performers, presenters and ACM Awards week will be announced in the coming weeks.

The 60th ACM Awards “will celebrate six decades of Country Music and feature unforgettable performances by the genre’s most legendary and multi-award-winning stars,” the Academy of Country Music said, and will stream live exclusively on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch on Thursday, May 8 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Per PEOPLE:

    • Shelton, 48, will perform after his recent single “Texas” has been finding success on the country charts. His upcoming album, For Recreational Use Only, is set for a May 9 release.
    • Wilson, 32 — who won entertainer of the year at last year’s ceremony — is currently promoting her latest album, Whirlwind. Her performance will arrive a few months before she kicks off the Whirlwind World Tour’s North American leg on Aug. 14.
    • Church, 47, will have his moment on the ACM Awards stage will come shortly after his new album, Evangeline Vs. the Machine, comes out May 2.

The ACM Awards – established in 1966 – is the longest-running country music awards show (the Country Music Association Awards launched the following year). In 2022, the ACM Awards became the first major awards ceremony to exclusively livestream, in collaboration with Prime Video.
