The Weakley County Emergency Management Agency says they recorded over 11 inches of rain in the local area over the weekend.
EMA Director Ray Wiggington says the flooding on main roads throughout the county is minor, but that back roads have had more damage.
Director Wiggington told Thunderbolt News that Weakley County has only suffered minor flooding and that the Obion River has already started to recede.
A flood warning is still in effect for Dyer, Gibson, Obion, and Weakley Counties.
