Weakley County Mayor Dale Hutcherson says he is thankful for minimal damage and no loss of life across Weakley County after a major storm system hammered West Tennessee for multiple days.
Mayor Hutcherson praised Weakley County Emergency personnel for their work to keep people safe and informed during the severe weather.
Mayor Hutcherson went on to say that the county road department has worked hard to keep roadways clear during the historical rainfall.
The Weakley County EMA says the local area received 11 inches of rain over the weekend.
