
The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning that includes Western Kentucky and Southeast Missouri.
Forecasters say temperatures as low as 25-to-30 degrees are possible in the warning areas from midnight until 9:00 on Tuesday morning.
Freezing conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
The National Weather Service has also issued a Frost Advisory for Northwest Tennessee.
Forecasters say overnight low of 33-to-37 degrees will result in frost that could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation.
Recently planted outdoor plants and flowers should be covered from the frost, with the advisory in effect from 3:00 until 9:00 on Tuesday morning.
