A South Fulton man was killed and his wife injured in a storm related accident Wednesday night.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 68 year old Ted Owens was operating a 2019 Lincoln Nautilus when the vehicle was struck by a tree.
Owens was fatally injured in the accident, with his wife, 64 year old Patricia Dianne Owens hospitalized after suffering injuries.
The Highway Patrol report said the accident occurred just after 9:00 on Wolf Creek Road.
Dianne Owens is well known locally for her 30 years of educational experience, including her time as the Superintendent of the Fulton Independent School System.
