
The National Weather Service has now placed the entire area in a Level 5, or High Risk, for the potential of severe thunderstorms today.
Level 5 is the highest rating on the scale of severity concerning thunderstorms.
Reports indicate the last time a Level 5 was issued for the Ken-Tenn area was in 2017.
Current forecasts indicate a line of severe thunderstorms, with the potential for hail, damaging winds and possible tornadoes, could move through the area sometime after 5:00.
