
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the North Fork Obion River near Martin and the Obion River near Obion.
The warning period will be in effect from Thursday morning through Saturday morning.
Forecasters say the North Fork Obion River is expected to rise above flood stage of 20-feet on Thursday, and may continue to rise through the weekend.
At 21-feet, residents in Rives should complete flood precautions, with extensive cropland flooding in parts of Obion and Weakley County.
Forecasts for the Obion River near Obion indicates the river is expected to rise above the flood stage of 34-feet on Thursday.
The river may continue to rise during the weekend.
At 38-feet, Rives is flooding along with most farmland near the river.
