Murray State head men’s basketball coach Ryan Miller has announced the signing of 6-9 forward Mason Miller who joins the program for the 2025-26 season as a senior.

Associate Athletic Director Dave Winder said Mason Miller is Coach Miller’s nephew, as they were together for the last four seasons at Creighton.

“We are very excited to have Mason join us at Murray State,” said Coach Miller. “Mason is family, but more than that, he was an outstanding student-athlete at Creighton and it made sense that he joins our team in Murray. Mason is an outstanding shooter and will be a great teammate.”

Mason Miller appeared in 101 games over three playing seasons with the Bluejays from 2022-25 where he was a 37 percent shooter from the 3-point line (76-of-203).

In the 2023-24 season, he led the BIG EAST Conference in 3-point shooting at 45 percent on 49-of-108 for a Creighton team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet-16. Miller started all 33 games and had a string of 10-straight games with a made 3-point shot. The season prior in 2022-23, Miller saw action in 36 games for the Bluejays who advanced to the Elite-8.

Miller was recognized as Tennessee’s Class AAA Mr. Basketball out of Houston High School in the Memphis area in 2021 and led HHS to the State Championship, the first in school history. At Houston, Mason played for his father, Mike Miller, Ryan’s brother.
