
Current forecasts for heavy amounts of rain are causing some concerns in the Ken-Tenn area.
The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Flood Watch for the area from Wednesday thru Sunday.
Forecasters say upwards of 10-inches of rain may fall during the period.
Obion County Emergency Management Director Danny Jowers said there are some factors in play which could help the area in the event of the heavy rain.(AUDIO)

Forecasts for Wednesday also indicate the Ken-Tenn area could receive severe thunderstorms, which include the possibility of strong tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds.
