The UT Martin equestrian team claimed its second conference title in school history on Saturday after defeating two-time defending Eastern College Athletic Conference Champion UC Davis.
The Skyhawks broke a 10-10 tie over the weekend with a raw points victory. UTM led after the first two events, but was trailing going into the final event of the meet.
The Aggies scored the first points but UTM claimed three straight victories, leading to their 10th point of the day.
After scores were tabulated the Skyhawks were given the victory with a 1,446.5 to 1,379.3 raw points tiebreaker.
The NCEA Selection Committee will unveil its eight-team tournament today at 5, which will determine if UTM is in the National Championship set for April 17th in Florida.
