A ceremony was held in Hickman on Wednesday to celebrate a new training facility benefitting Fulton County Detention Center inmates.
The Fulton Academy for Construction Education, located on Hilltop Road, was the scene of a tour and ribbon cutting involving local, county and state officials.
A former recycling center was transformed into the spacious training site thanks to two grants totaling approximately $375,000.
Fulton County Jailer Steven Williams said the new facility will provide great opportunities.(AUDIO)
