Union City police arrested two people on Saturday on charges including property theft and credit card theft.
Union City Police Department reports said 60 year old Sergio Sanchez of Alamo, and 58 year old Mario Sanchez of Humboldt, were taken into custody at Lowes, on West Reelfoot Avenue.
Police reports said store management contacted police after the two men were attempting to pick up an online order for an individual with a Collierville address.
When contacting the credit card owner concerning the $8,657 order for shingles, the Lowes manager was quickly informed the purchase was fraudulent.
Sergio Sanchez was taken into custody on an active warrant in Union City for fraud and theft, with both charged with theft of property, conspiracy to commit theft, and fraudulent use of a credit or debit card.
