UT Martin athlete Cameron Greene becomes the first baseball freshman OVC Player of the Week in UTM history.
Greene is the 15th Skyhawk to earn OVC Player of the week accolades and only the third freshman.
Starting all five games this week, Greene hit .533 with a .579 on-base percentage and 1.067 slugging percentage to help the Skyhawks go 4-1 on the week.
The left-handed hitter scored 10 runs and had eight RBI’s, and a pair of home runs with two doubles.
The Skyhawks are back at it for five games this week, playing a split midweek series against Southern Illinois before heading to OVC foe Lindenwood for a three-game set on Friday through Sunday.
