The City of Martin has announced upcoming improvements to the Martin Recreation Complex, including a new playground, pickleball courts, and a resurfaced walking trail.
Bids for the projects have been accepted and will be approved at the April City Board meeting. The funding for the project was secured through a Community Development Block Grant.
Economic and Community Development Director Brad Thompson gives us more details about the upgrades.
The new improvements will cost about $600,000 with the city of Martin providing a 10 percent match for the grant.
