A ribbon cutting was held at the new Woodfire Pizza Kitchen in Martin on Thursday adding to the collection of restaurants available in Martin.
Martin Economic and Community Development Director Brad Thompson told Thunderbolt Radio about the steps that have been taken to encourage the growth of local business in the city.
Director Thompson said the State of Tennessee helped with the development of Woodfire Pizza by providing a grant that combined economic development with historical preservation.
Woodfire Pizza Kitchen is located at 230 South Lindell Street.
