U.S. Representative John Rose announced his candidacy for Tennessee Governor on Thursday at the Wilson County Fairgrounds.
Mr. Rose is an eighth-generation Tennessean, farmer, and business owner. He also chaired the Tennessee State Fair Association for over 10 years.
Congressman Rose has been endorsed by Trump in each of his bids for Congress and pledged to stand with the President in empowering states.
Mr. Rose listed his top priorities of bettering education, expanding and improving roadways, making healthcare and mental healthcare accessible and affordable, making Tennessee a leader in energy production, protecting unborn life, and defending the Second Amendment
