
The Murray State Racers women’s basketball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament after clinching the Missouri Valley Conference championship.
The (25-7) women Racers will now head to Norman, Oklahoma for their opening game on Saturday.
Murray State is an 11th seed and will face 6th seeded Iowa.
The Racers are making only their second appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and come into this week’s game as the highest scoring team in the NCAA Division 1 at 87.8 points per game.
The Murray State women’s team has already set a program record for 25 wins, including a current ten game winning streak.
