The National Weather Service has now expanded the Level-4, or Moderate Zone, for the possibility of severe thunderstorms.
All of West Tennessee and the upper portion of Mississippi are now included the Level-4 Zone.
Level-4 is on a scale of five for the greatest probability of strong to severe thunderstorms in an area.
Forecasters say the area could see all modes of severe weather late tonight into Saturday, including large hail, strong damaging winds and tornadoes.
