The Tennessee Legislature has put their approval on a cell phone ban in schools across the state.
Both the Senate and House approved the legislation, which was sent to the Governor’s desk for his signature.

The Director said upon the Governor’s signature, a rules committee with the Department of Education will establish some guidelines for the legislation.
