The Paris Police Department has announced that parking will no longer be allowed in travel lanes on the south side of the parade route during the World’s Largest Fish Fry.
The police department says the decision was made with the priority of citizen safety and the increasing concern over vehicle attacks at public events in mind.
The parade route will be patrolled before the event and any cars parked in the restricted area will be towed.
The World’s Largest Fish Fry will take place in Paris April 20th through 27th.
