The Weakley County Audit Committee announced that the county had a clean audit during their yearly meeting on Tuesday.
Committee Chairman Chris Mathis says it has been years since Weakley County had a fully clean audit.
Commissioner Larry Taylor also announced he would be stepping down from his position on the audit committee.
Commissioner Taylor’s term on the committee ends in August and the county will have to appoint a new member.
The audit will be presented to the full county commission at their next meeting by Chairman Mathis.
