Kentucky will again host the largest school archery tournament in the nation.

The National Archery in the Schools Program State Tournament will take place at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville on Friday and Saturday.

More than 7,000 student archers from nearly 400 schools will be competing.

This year’s event will feature two competitions, including the traditional bullseye shooting at a multi-ring target, along with 3D shooting at lifelike foam targets.

Elementary, middle and high school archers will be competing for individual and team championships and scholarships, with the top-scoring archers advancing to national championship.
