Dresden Mayor Mark Maddox gave an update on the construction progress of the new city hall during the Dresden Board meeting on Monday.
Mayor Maddox believes the building will be done within the next three weeks. Construction has been ongoing since August of 2023.
Mr. Maddox says the city will be holding an event for the opening of the new city hall.
The new Municipal Building is replacing the Dresden City Hall that was destroyed by the December 10th tornado in 2021. The police and fire departments were also destroyed and now will be under the same roof.
