UT Martin Basketball stand-out Tarence Guinyard has earned All-Ohio Valley Conference first team accolades along with OVC All-Newcomer honors.
Guinyard is the fifth player in program history to win both awards in the same season. In conference play this season, Guinyard is ranked second in scoring average, fourth in field goal percentage, and ninth in steals. He ranks fourth in the OVC in points averaged with 16.2 per game.
Guinyard drained 74.4 percent of his free throw attempts, earning him the 10th highest accuracy in the league. His 176 free throw attempts are tied for the 10th most in Skyhawk history.
