A Henry County woman died on Monday after being struck by a vehicle.
According to a statement from the Paris Police Department the victim was crossing the road near the Henry County Medical Center when she was struck by a van.
Paris and Henry County Emergency Services arrived at the scene and attempted to transport the woman by helicopter, but she was pronounced deceased.
The Paris Police Department is reviewing evidence and investigating the incident.
