
On Friday UT Martin hosted the UT System Board of Trustees for their winter meeting. UT System President Randy Boyd addressed the Board about the positive period UT is in.
President Boyd acknowledged that the school system is facing some challenges, especially with current political turmoil happening in the country.
President Boyd announced that UT revenues were up 32 percent or $3.4 billion since 2020. He also listed goals the system has including enhancing STEM and 4-H education, recruiting new chancellors, developing a five-year financial plan, and more.
The UT Martin Board of Trustees includes Michael Banks, Dr. Cheryl Brown, Justin Hanson, Shannon Cotter, Dr. Youlanda Jones, Shawn Kimble, Hadley Malone, Matt Marshall, Jack Matthis, Frank McMeen, Jeff Parham, John Penn Ridgeway, Jessi Pruett, Cary Vaughn, and Garry Welch.
