The Tennessee Highway Patrol was busy during the latest winter storm.
Lt. Bill Miller reported Troopers worked tirelessly to assist stranded motorists, clear roadways and to investigate accidents.
For the period of February 18th and 19th, Highway Patrol reports said Troopers responded to 195 crashes, assisted 289 stranded motorists and investigated 45 abandoned vehicles.
The Highway Patrol was also called to investigate two fatal crashes.
While the highest call volume was recorded in the Nashville, Chattanooga and Memphis districts, significant responses were also reported in the local Jackson district.
