The Weakley County Sheriff’s office arrested a Martin woman on Thursday for aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
Deputies responded to a residence on Reed Road in Martin where they spoke to a man stating that his girlfriend, 67-year-old Dianna Reagan, hit him with a bat and stabbed him with scissors multiple times.
Deputies stated that the victim’s injuries matched his story. Reagan refused to cooperate with police and had to be forcibly arrested.
She was transported to the Weakley County Jail.
