Future forecasts for the potential of heavy rain will now have officials, and some home owners, on alert in Hickman.

The most recent heavy rain event of over six inches again led to a landslide onto Carroll Street.

The landslide destroyed the former fire station building and closed a section of the city street.

Former City Manager David Gallagher told Thunderbolt News about the issue facing the slide area.(AUDIO)

Eight homes sit on Moulton Street bluff area, near the Fulton County Courthouse.

Although no home has been directly affected by the landslides, the back yard area of some properties has diminished over the years.

Gallagher was asked about the concerns of the home owners.(AUDIO)
