
Fulton County Lady Pilots basketball player JaMesha Brown reached the elite 2,000 point mark in the opening game of the First District Tournament on Monday night in Hickman.
The senior scored her 2,000th point in the third quarter against Fulton City, in the tournament game played at Fulton County High School.
Brown’s 24 points and nine rebounds helped lead the (17-6) Lady Pilots to a 62-37 win.
Fulton County advanced to the championship game, and will face the winner of tonight’s Carlisle County vs. Hickman County game.
