A strong second-half helped the Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team pull away from UT Martin Thursday as the Golden Eagles took a 70-55 win over the Skyhawks.
The Golden Eagles improved to 21-5 overall and 15-2 in the OVC winning their 12th straight game. UT Martin is now tied in fourth place in the OVC with a 9 and 9 record and 12-17 overall.
Anaya Brown led UT Martin with 29 points, including 10-for-14 at the free-throw line and completed the double-double with 10 rebounds.
UT Martin women will play next Thursday against Southern Indiana at home.
