A family in Cottage Grove, near Palmersville, lost their home to a house fire on Thursday morning.
The Cottage Grove Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call on Church Street with five trucks and 15 firefighters. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Como/Ore Spring Fire Department also assisted.
The home was declared a total loss.
