Due to a lack of staff the Weakley County Emergency Management Agency was unable to open a warming shelter in the county.
A warming center is available at the First Church of God in Union City on Miles Avenue. If anyone is in need of a warm place to stay they can call 731-446-2061. The warming center will open on an as needed basis.
If anyone needs transportation to the shelter they can call the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department.
