Obion County Sheriff Karl Jackson said three vehicles ran off the road between Obion and Trimble last night on Highway 51 where vehicles ran into water and lost control into a ditch.
The victims were able to get out of their vehicles and called for help. One was treated for what was believed to be frost bite. Sheriff Jackson said under the snow there’s ice under the snow and motorists can easily slide off in a ditch.
Martin Police LT John Cross told WCMT news this morning that the roads are frozen and you can easily lose control of your vehicle. Lt. Cross said if you don’t have to get out in the snow stay at home.
