Recovery efforts from the flooding continue in Rives.
Obion County Mayor Steve Carr made an announcement Wednesday morning, allowing more residents to return to their homes.(AUDIO)
Mayor Carr said roads in Rives were now open.
Due to the severe flooding and safety issues, some residents will have to have their homes surveyed for possible damage before electricity can be restored.
Mayor Carr said he hopes that all Rives residents can soon be restored to service.
