School is back in session today, following President’s Day, with the exception of the Obion County School System which remains under an emergency declaration due to flooding in Rives and surrounding areas.
Weakley County Emergency Agency Director Ray Wiggington says Highway 431 between Martin and Union City is now open. He says the four lane Highway 22, from Martin to Union City, remains closed due to flooding.
Motorist who drive between Martin and Union City are ask to go slow on Highway 431.
Meawhile the National Weather Service says snowy conditions are expected around 6pm this evening with gust up to 30 miles an hour making the temp feel like 14 degrees.
