The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Northwest Tennessee and a Winter Storm Watch for Western Kentucky.
The Winter Storm Warning will be in effect from noon on Tuesday thru noon on Wednesday.
Current forecasts indicate snowfall accumulations of four to eight inches during the period.
The forecast also calls for daytime highs on Wednesday in the mid-20’s, with highs in the mid-teens on Thursday.
Overnight lows on Wednesday and Thursday are expected to fall into the low single digits, with wind chills as low as ten-below zero.
Current predictions indicate the local area will not see temperatures above freezing until Saturday.
