A landslide in Hickman destroyed a building and closed a section of roadway due to the flooding on Friday night and Saturday.
The landslide occurred on Carroll Street, with the mud and debris destroying a building that once housed the former Hickman Fire Department building and later a bait shop.
The City of Hickman received over six inches of rain during a 24-hour period, which also caused other smaller landslides.
A portion of Carroll Street remains closed due to the damage, with the Courthouse steps also closed off due to debris from the slide.
