The TBI is warning high school athletes of a potential scam involving the Middle Tennessee State football program.
The TBI says an individual posing as an official from MTSU has been asking for game film, alleges an offer from the university, and then demands a fee to hold a spot at an allegedly required camp.
The offers are fraudulent and the TBI warns people not to click any links, texts, or direct messages and never send money.
