Area residents who live in low lying area are urged to be prepared in the event of flooding this weekend.
The National Weather Service says the approaching front could drop 2-to-5 inches of rain or more in the local area.
This rainfall on already saturated grounds could lead to flooding issues.
A Flood Watch will be in effect from Friday night thru late Saturday night.
