Weakley County Schools has announced that TISA outcome funds will be distributed to all school employees as a one-time incentive bonus.
The bonus will recognize the collective efforts that led to the academic progress that generated the funding.
The was generated by major improvements in key academic areas like increased 3rd grade reading proficiency, higher milled school ELA and math scores, strong results in Early Postsecondary Opportunities, and ACT exams.
The distribution of the funds will follow a team-based approach, with bonuses scaled according to individual growth metrics.
Any current employee who was employed during the 2023-24 school year will receive the bonus.
