Weakley County officials along with city officials and UT Martin are working together to bring new growth to the local area.
CEO of the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce Justin Crice says they will be applying for a grant alongside UTM that will help them plan for the future.
Mr. Crice tells us about the importance of encouraging more residential development within the county.
As of 2023 Weakley County’s population was just over 33,000.
