During the Martin City Board meeting this week, Alderman approved the first reading of a resolution that would allow taxi cab services in Martin.
Mayor Randy Brundige says they currently don’t have any companies coming to town, but they had received some inquiries.
The Board also approved the first reading to update the city’s drought management plan which has to be updated every three years by law.
The next meeting of the Martin City Board will be on March 10th. A public hearing will be held for any comments on the taxi service resolution.
