Six West Tennessee Officers Charged with Misconduct

In a press released from the TBI the Dyer County Grand Jury has returned indictments charging six law enforcement officers with charges ranging from official misconduct, official oppression, assault, and tampering with evidence.

The TBI reported six law officers have been charged after a high speed chase in Shelby County that ended in a crash a crash on Highway 51 in Dyer County last October.

The officers indicted include Bryan Lane and Benjamin Stanifer from the Lauderdale County sheriff’s office, Zachary Antle of the Mason Police Department, and Dakota Wilkerson and Samuel Chastain and Matthew Lawler with Tipton County Sheriff’s Office

All six law men turned themselves in and were booked into the Dyer County Jail. Each been released on a $25,000 bond.
