Southeast Missouri State has been picked as the preseason baseball favorite in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The Redhawks received 13 of 20 first place votes from OVC head coaches and communications directors.
The Top-5 was rounded out with Little Rock, Tennessee Tech, Morehead state and Eastern Illinois.
In the preseason poll, UT Martin was picked to finish seventh in the ten team conference.
In the “Players to Watch” selection for this season, Skyhawks junior second baseman T.J. Grines was one of nine players to be recognized.
The 77th season of Ohio Valley Baseball will begin on February 14th.
