A Union City man has been arrested on charges pertaining to sexual battery, drugs and weapons.
The Obion County Sheriff’s Office said 56 year old David Carl Bell was taken into custody Tuesday night at his residence on Cooley Road.
He was charged with five counts of sexual battery and five counts of sexual battery by an authority figure.
Following his arrest, Sheriff’s reports said methamphetamine was found in the possession of Bell, with a search warrant of his home resulting in the seizure of 132 grams of marijuana, just over seven grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and five firearms.
He was additionally charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of methamphetamine, and five counts of possession of a weapon during a dangerous felony.
Bell is being held in the Obion County Law Enforcement Complex on a $50,000 bond.
