Last month the City of Dresden received a $350,000 infrastructure planning grant in January through the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
Dresden Mayor Mark Maddox tells us what the city will be using the grant money for.
Mayor Maddox says that Dresden has gained some attention from the state due to water loss they are experiencing in their water system and they would like to correct the problems.
There is no current timeline on repairs. Mayor Maddox says there are hundreds of miles of pipe in Dresden that will have to be inspected.
